Patterned after a US Army photograph of a HumVee, equipped with 105mm recoilless rifle, the “HumBee” is approximately 3/4-scale. Except for the engine (rear mounted) and the front suspension, both taken from a Pontiac Fiero, the HumBee is completely hand built. The simulated gun rotates 360 degree and elevates to 70 degrees with the push of a button. Housed beneath the front hood, that opens just like its' combat cousin, are two Nitrogen bottles delivering 2,400 lbs. of compressed gas to power the breach loading t'shirt cannon which is capable of shooting a rolled t'shirt 75-100 yards.
MarketPoint Productions' HumBee is not street legal but is equipped with headlights, brake and tail lights, an electric radiator fan and all the open-air comforts of a real HumVee including a fold down windshield. Better yet, the HumBee is always well received when it appears at racing or other sports events packin' and pumpin' t'shirts into the grandstands and crowds!
